PDF Printing

PDF Printing in Java is simple with JPedal. JPedal supports Java Printing Services to provide seemless print PDF support to any printer from sever or client.

Our latest print dialogs break the printing information into three pages, with a thumbnail preview of the pages to be printed:

  • Page 1
  • Page 2
  • Page 3

Printer

This page groups together the information about the printer, page size and margins.

Range

This page allows the user to customize the print range and whether to print all pages, or the choice of odd or even pages.

Handling

This page allows the user to specify the number of copies, and page scaling options.

Java's native print PDF routines are not as sophisticated as Adobe's PDF print options, which is why we've written our own and added numerous enhancements.

Just like PDF printing in Acrobat, JPedal gives complete control over the PDF printing process allowing you to scale, center, rotate, fit to page, print over the page, and more. Last time we counted there were over 50 possible PDF print combinations available in JPedal to cover every PDF printing requirement.

PDF Printing is built into the PDF Viewers and there is also an example to provide standalone, clientside or serverside PDF printing.
