Configuring the Java PDF viewer properties

This section gives information about the properties file, the function of the different flags and how they can be changed. Please note, we are constantly adding new functionality to the properties file and therefore the documentation contained here is for version 4.15 of JPedal. If a flag is not present in your properties file then the functionality is not available for your version.

Identifying your properties file

When SimpleViewer is run it will check for a properties file (.properties.xml) in the folder that it is being run from. There is also a command line option that will allow the user to specify their own properties file. In the case that a user specified properties file does not exist one will be created.

The above image shows the preferences window for the Simpleviewer. This window is used to interact with the properties file to make it easier to alter values without a risk of inputting an invalid value manually.
